The Stable Mat™ are a high quality, heavy duty, 100% pure rubber, non slip, non porous, low maintenance, low impact floor matting for equestrian stables and stalls.

How big are the mats?

The Stable Mat measures 6 foot by x 4 foot, 3/4 inch thick pure rubber flooring mat that weighs 45Kg. The large size and weight mean that the Stable Mat will (when properly fitted) stay put without adhesives or fasteners and will not curl at the edges like some lower quality matting.

What are the Stable Mats made of?

The Stable Mat is made from 100% natural pure rubber making it hard wearing, waterproof and shock absorbent.

Isn't rubber slippery when wet?

The Stable Mat has a textured, non-slip surface which reduces the risk of slipping. The grooved underside also 'gives' to provide relief to joints and muscles, great for older horses, those in recuperation or on box rest.

Will I get an unpleasant smell if I use the Stable Mat?

The mats are of very high quality, are hard wearing, extremely durable. In addition as they are non-porous all of the urine stays on top of the mat where it will absorbed by the bedding, so a properly fitted stable mat will not smell.
